Cold Front Customs is a North Dakota-based custom rifle and gunsmithing shop built around one simple idea: do the job right.

Owned and operated by Mason Knutson and Blake Erickson, Cold Front Customs was built from a shared passion for firearms, hunting, precision shooting, and quality craftsmanship. As lifelong shooters and hunters, Mason and Blake wanted to create a shop where attention to detail and pride in the finished product come before everything else.

We specialize in custom rifle builds, barrel threading, Cerakote, gunsmithing, and precision rifle work for hunters and shooters who expect their equipment to perform when it matters. Whether we're building a rifle from the ground up, threading a barrel for a suppressor, or giving an existing firearm a new look and purpose, every project gets the same attention to detail.

Mason and Blake are hands-on with the work that comes through the shop. Being shooters themselves, they understand that a rifle shouldn't just look good on the bench—it needs to perform in the field and on the range.
